We hope you have been enjoying the holiday season with family and \"New<\/a>friends. \u00a0Did any lucky ones bring in the new yearfrom the\u00a0slopes? \u00a0If you have any recommendations for next year, reply to this email and let us know! \u00a0Last year we made it to Snowshoe, but it was too cold to\u00a0enjoy the outdoor party. Did anyone make it there this year? \u00a0Here’s a shot of the fireworks at Steamboat last night!<\/div>\n

Looks like winter is finally here with the temps getting low\u00a0enough to make snow. \u00a0I hope so, we are headed to Wisp next weekend. \u00a0It’s not a ski club trip, but we will be wearing our green bandanas. \u00a0Let me know if you’ll be on the mountain too and we can meet up.\u00a0 Not sure we’ll get much skiing in. \u00a0Keep your fingers crossed.<\/div>\n

I posted a few new links on our website to get to updated snow reports. \u00a0The link from\u00a0SkiSoutheast.com<\/a> has a handy grid for WV and MD. \u00a0I added a separate link for Seven Springs<\/a>\u00a0and Holiday Valley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

S<\/a>even Springs<\/a> is actually looking the best so far with 4 trails open and 8-26″ base. \u00a0Holiday Valley<\/a> is next with a 3-17″ base and 2 slopes open.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Seven Springs, we need to decide about our club trip this year. \u00a0If you are interested in going, please call or text Mark Miller at 740-525-5036. \u00a0He wants to have a count before our meeting this Tuesday, January 5th. \u00a0We will make the final call at the meeting. \u00a0I hope we can round up enough people to fill our 10 room minimum.<\/p>\n

Steamboat<\/a> is looking great for snow this year! \u00a0How lucky we are to have picked that resort. \u00a0Our son Alex joined the University of Cincinnati Ski Club trip to Steamboat in December this year. \u00a0He was there when they got three\u00a0feet of powder and\u00a0said it was the best boarding he has ever experienced. \u00a0Here’s the snow report from Steamboat <\/a>– 48″ base, not too bad!<\/p>\n
