In the meantime Holiday Valley has been<br \/>\nmaking snow at every available opportunity. Attached are photos showing the<br \/>\n10 to 15 foot mounds of manmade snow on the Northwind trail.<br \/>\nThese mounds were made over 2 nights when the temperatures dropped to the<br \/>\nlow 20&#8217;s and teens. The crew lets the snow &#8220;cure&#8221; for a day then the mounds<br \/>\nare spread out over the slope with a hydraulic grooming tractor.<br \/>\nAfter the anticipated snowfall on Friday night the slope will be groomed<br \/>\nonce again to open for skiing on Saturday.
